I would say those are just fine welds. I know from experience, that welding in the very awkward positions required for frame work, that you really can't do much better.

Once you run the flap wheel over them, then whatever coating you want to apply, no one will be able to criticize.

Give yourself another 10 or 15 years of experience as long as you can see the joint are comfortable the welds all start looking the same no matter the position !!!

I gotta disagree, Craig. As we get older, there is no way we can pull off the welds we laid down when we were younger.

If its not in a comfortable position, my weld presentation will suffer.

The older I get, the more I realize, success is just showing up on time...and passing a whizz quiz.

I am not a stickler for time. I am however big on output and quality. And if you show up 20 minutes late, you better be willing to stay an hour past quitting time.

Nice job given your experience. Welding is like anything else. Ends up coming down to muscle memory. In time you will be able to produce even welds regardless of position.

I try not to think of that answer !!

I see a reflection in the Mirror and wonder who it is

If Medicare is still around in 4 years I can sign up

I was all set to semi retire at 45 ( Meaning I could be real picky about taking jobs)

I trusted my then wife till she ran off with her girl friend after building a nice 6 figure nest egg by not paying the bills I was handing her a few thousand in cash every week
