Magpul made a limited edition magazine when they were based in CO. Due to high capacity bans on magazines. You can't sell full magazines but "repair" kits are fine. These have the CO flag and Free CO stamped on them. Do a google search and you can find them. Can get pictures if any interest.

Holy shit. Is it a drum mag repair kit? That's outrageous for a 30 rounder. Too "limited edition" for my wallet. Good luck with sale.

Even $30 sounds high to me when you can find the assembled ones for $15ish all the time. It'd be a shame if they doubled the price to sell it disassembled for repair purposes. That may be the price to play though, I haven't bought mags since the ban took effect here.

What's up fellas. I'm a fire fighter in a large city in Florida. Problem is I hate Florida.

I love Colorado. Thinking about applying to some larger cities just for shits and seeing what happens.

What is the cost of living like in Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, and Denver (I'm sure it's stupid expensive in Denver)?

I want to make sure I'm not gonna get crushed financially. I make really good money where I am and cost of living here is nothing.

    Thanks

I have lived here too long now but home prices/ rental rates is what I hear people constantly complaining about. Edit: and that will effect all places here in Colorado

You'll have a better quality of life near the mountains in my opinion. ;) Originally from Charleston, SC, I've been out here for about 15 years. From off roading above 13,000 feet, climbing, and my favorite mountain biking, you won't have a shortage to keep you busy when your off. And that's just the summer and fall. I have a few friends fighting fires, one moved back to St. Lewis due to Pay and family. I think researching pay scales would be most important. I'm a teacher and fortunately they pay better than the south. Live in a two bedroom house with garage and backyard for 1600 5 min from downtown.

I have been searching salaries and will definitely take a pay cut, plus more expensive housing. I've spent time in Colorado, and grew up in mountains of New England. I know for a fact I would love it there that is not an issue. Just getting a feel for if I can afford to live or do I need to get a second job out there.

Got it. Yeah just the move can be expensive. Personally, if they cut my pay to less than SC, I would stay and find a way. Just feels more like home out here. Live out of the station for a few possible...? There's always bar tending. My friends make more than both of us.
