Anyone know how to fix the heavy stuff marks we put on our door panels? I can hide it a little with 303.

 

Had it for about a year but I think I paid $175.00 +/-. I just had it painted when I had my tailgate fixed, body shop had extra MGM paint left over so they painted it on both sides 3 coats plus sealant. They did it for free thought that was a pretty good deal!

 

Finally got my plates and put on the inferno TRD off road frames

 

Ya what's up with that?! I got scuff marks just below my arm rest, and little scratches everywhere. I never touch the things. My biggest complaint about the truck. Love my 3rd gen but 2nd gen interior used better materials.

Think I might try the stuff you would use on black shoe scuffs

I thought about polish but it would melt when interior gets really hot.

 

I tried with a heat gun but you need a lot of patience, my door panels get scratched and scuffed up so easily.

 

I got scratches everywhere lol idk how they get on there so easily

Mine do too. Didn't think it was worth a new thread. Thought I'd ask around here. Did heat work better than just using protectant to cover it?

 

Have you considered those TRD center cap emblems? They look good on the dipped black TRD OR wheels. @jvill4 has them, maybe he can post a pic up!

Yea I didn't think about starting a thread because I didn't think people had that issue.

I made a scratch once with the little sharp things under my husky floor mats when I took them out to give them a rinse.

 

Yes, trying heat you would have to be careful. Mine are mostly from my work boots.

 

I have thrown everything at these door panels. Nothing lasts. I had black panels in my last Ford that showed scuffs but anything like VLR would cover them good for at least a month. Nothing seems to last on these. North Korean Plastic. Might have been better in lighter colors.

 

I wonder if bug spray with DEET may polish them out. Works on some plastics.

 

I'm sure someone out there will come up with a solution.
