Beautiful truck. As another service member who isn't here to get on my soapbox and tell you why I'm right and you're wrong based on how many tours I've done and my occupation in said service, welcome and thank you for your service. I saw no issues or took offense with your picture, hopefully some of the responses didnt jade your TW experience. Sub'd for more sweet pics/build.

Very nice. Don't have the funds (or need) to do anything close to this, but I always appreciate others who are willing to build bad ass rigs.

    from :canada:

Just facts. You're welcome to test it out. Doesn't matter how much service you put in, doesn't mean you can do whatever you want with a flag. This type of entitlement is tacky af.

Almost as tacky as people getting on their high horse about flag codes because they feel more righteous/entitled because of how many tours, etc they did...

Sick burn. The thing is, I didn't see this guys pic... he took it down. So much for "backing" it. And mostly I don't care what people do with the flag. TONS of people do dumb shit with our flag, even though they mean well. But when someone says they've "earned" the right to do something incorrect with the flag, I call bullshit. You can write a ho post about it, but it doesn't change the rules. Nothing does.

Fair enough and agreed, the picture though and how it was hanging/displayed is probably vastly different than what youre thinking and far from disrespectful or even being questionable.

To me telling someone that they can't fly the flag because they are doing it wrong doesn't sounds very patriotic...

I probably wouldn't notice. But the point is "I earned the right to do what I want with the flag". I reckon that's just dumb as hell.
