Yea the back end of the new type r really kills it for me. But once you get it on the road and drive it... that's a whole new story. I'm very impressed by the drive - although the "autoblip" downshifting threw me for a loop on the first corner when i damned near redlined the thing blipping the gas and the ecu blipping it as well for a downshift.

Back home. It was an interesting trip back. Almost didn't get on the airplane. Stupid Delta overbooked the flight and even though I was one of the first people to check in, I didn't have a seat for myself and my oldest. Wife and baby did. Luckily a couple volunteered to stay (with compensation of course), and that's how I got on.

Lessons learned. JFK airport SUCKS, Delta SUCKS, and Lisbon airport SUCK. Don't think I'll be using any of these three anytime soon.

 

Odd - I've never had an issue with delta but I have had a lot of issues with JKF and La Guardia. Those are two major airports I no longer travel through.

 

Cross-posting for a friend in need, looking for a used pickup for work use. Budget is $10k or under. Open to model, cab size, and bed size. Would prefer best mileage as possible. Also looking for a hard cap, not necessary for it to be a combo sale either. He lives in Boston but I am in RI so open to either state or whatever is close by. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

That'll put you in the 1st gen range at under 10k unless you find a super high mileage 2nd gen...

That's sucks. Unfortunately you hear about shit like that more and more often. I'm surprised that Delta flys out there. Up here outta Boston I thought it was a Sata Airlines only type of deal.

So I got my alignment today and both myself and the alignment tech were under the truck trying to figure out why the passengerside just sucks... I'm maxed out and can't bring it back in. Not sure what my options are now either.

 

Didn't you just do spindles and some work on your LCAs? Maybe pass. LCA is tweaked(?)
