I recently bought my 2017 4x4 Limited in QS. Love it so far. I would like to possibly (depending on cost) give it a ride closer to the sport. I was able to get the limited for a great price and I like the Hickory interior and wheels. Thought I might ask some of you guys about what I can do to help it stick corners a little better. BTW, I love it when the wife grabs Oh shit handle. Really miss the one on the dash from the 2008 I had. Would like to add one if anyone has any suggestions for that too. TIA :oldglory:

I'm pretty sure the sport and limited have the same suspension (hitachi shocks) it's the off-roads that have the bilstein. What exactly do you want to change?

Just curious about what I can do to stiffen the feeling on curves etc. Not a big deal but I don't have my sports car anymore. Just thought I'd check into a little tighter suspension. Just to clarify, I'm cool with it now. Just curious. Thanks

I recently traded a 05 TRD Sport for a 17 LTD. your answer is bilstein 5100 from headstrong off-road, in the vendor section. I did not but from them but would have saved $100. Installed by local tire & appliances store (I kid you not) for about $280.

I am happy as snot!!!! I got my ride back

Don't know about that, pretty sure they have different setups. I drove both and the Limited was much softer..

Talk to Marie @HeadStrong Off-Road about what ADS Shocks can do for you.

My '15 Limited handles pretty good for a truck... :burnrubber:

Thanks everyone. I have a friend who drives the sport. It's definitely a little stiffer. Wasn't sure what it was that made it that way. Sounds like shocks and sway might do it for me. Appreciate it!

If I'm not mistaken (quite possible) the Limited has the same susp setup as the SR5? It's definitely not the same as the sport.

That is true for the '13-15 Limiteds.

Crawled under the truck to look it over. Took this pic of the current shocks. Definitely no rear sway bar. I'm going to try to look at the sport also. Took a pic of the full size spare. Made China wheels. That was a little heartbreaking. Kinda wishing I had bought the sport now and added my own wheels! :oldglory:

Those are the same as I had on my 16 SR5, I definitely prefer the feel of my 17 OR, but everyone is different.

Well I got that Hellwig sway bar and drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads installed. I used to like the truck. Now I love it! Body roll is reduced significantly! Shocks and ride feel great so no effect on it. Corners feel sportier. I'm not an off road person so no need for the other mods. Thanks for the suggestion!
