Hey guys, I hope everyone is doing good. I just purchase a trd sport and I don't like the chrome grill at all... So, I just finished buying the pro grill. I was looking at install videos online and it seems like the screws are not re-used? It just clips in and that's it? I just want to confirm if it only clips in or if the screws are needed. I tried to search but could not find anything about that. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Screws aren't needed, just the clips.

Thanks guys. Because from most videos no one uses the screws and then I came across this video and the guy puts back 8 screws.

I put the screws back that could go back. The rest I put in a bag if I ever need them again. You don't need any screws for the pro grill though. I did this in the event I sell the truck and swap the grill back to stock. Probably won't happen though.

You only need to reuse screws if you took too many out when removing the sport grill. My pro grill rattled a bit (seemed loose) so I pulled it and realized that I'd taken too many screws out. Some, if I remember correctly, attach the color matched grill surround to an inner frame. It's been a few months so my memory could be letting me down but it should feel solid.

Can confirm. No screws for the pro grille, just clips.

you use the clips that come on it and 8 of the 18 screws
you removed from the stock grille, just did it last week.

    Super quick and simple replacement.

I was super hesitant to replace my ugly TRD sport chrome grille and it was super easy after watching the YT vids! I got the TRD pro Toyota one in black and love it!
