from everything i have heard yes its 2wd capable.

 

santa ynez high school, i've never done the trail before but many people have said it's nothing crazy and 2WD is totally fine.

 

I've tried to find the road to Cuyama Peak but had a hell of a time trying to figure out where you cross at the river. I guess you can get to it pretty easily if you drive up the 33 a little further and come off from the 166 (which skips the river crossing).

I did the Refugio Rd/Camino Cielo drive and it's a lot of fun. There was a hairy spot near the end when you're getting close to the 154, but I'm still new to off roading so you guys that are more experience may not even blink.
