I'm looking to test my fuel pressure on my 2008 4.0 auto 153,000. I feel that some power has been lost on the freeway. I'm getting some downshifting on freeway rise. The truck always held the gear the this freeway. nothing has change with the road or my trucks tires started about 2 months back. hubs new and spin free.

im looking for the test port and the spec on fuel pressure

    thanks...

There is no test port. Here's what Toyota says
    • Install SST and the fuel tube connector onto the vehicle. SST 09268-41048 (90467-13001, 95336-08070, 09268-41500), 09268-45014 (09268-41200, 09268-41220, 09268-41250)
    • Measure the fuel pressure. Standard: 281 to 287 kPa (2.87 to 2.93 kgf/cm2, 40.8 to 41.7 psi)
    • Check that the fuel pressure does not change for 5 minutes. Standard: 147 kPa (1.5 kgf/cm2, 21 psi)

Could be lots of things, from a lazy oxygen sensor to a cat starting to get plugged up, could be transmission related as well. Start with the basics, spark plugs, throttle body cleaning, MAF cleaning air filter.

spark plugs, throttle body cleaning, MAF cleaning air filter are good to go. Trans flushed at dealer every 60k
