    Lol. I meant the trans gear.

    Your answer adds more detail to the story though. Gear reduction can drastically effect power output. I.E. larger tires, trans in 2nd versus its closest 1:1 gear, different ring and pinion ratios.

    Your mile High altitude is coupled with your gearing, makes for lower numbers for sure.

    That's actually kind of amazing, most people I hear over like 3000' have reduced boost. Yeah not sure what's going on with you, unless it's altitude plus the larger tires (more weight) that gears just still aren't getting you all of your power back.

    Anyone with an A5 transmission truck looking for a fully bolt on aluminum solution to the plastic coolant reservoir expansion tank? I think I may have just found one which holds 3 quarts compared to the TRD supercharger one which holds 1 measly quart. So increased intercooler system capacity!

    Just like I did with the Qwikchange pulley style setup, I am going to run guinea pig on this one as well. I'm sure a lot of us suffer from leaky plastic tanks. Not to mention the possibility of it cracking exists at any point and that is somewhat of an unnerving feeling.

    It is the weak point in an otherwise well thought out and solid setup. With the additional coolant 2 quarts of coolant which would be available to circulate through the system on top of the 1 quart already available, hopefully operational temps would lower a little. What I plan to do is upgrade the electric water pump and put in this reservoir and then have better fluid circulation as well as more available to circulate.

    Good enough to heatsoak those rotors spinning at 16,200 RPM, you are right (that's what mine are spinning at when revving it to 5800RPM). Also, remember, unlike the GT500, we run a smaller package of rotors, so it requires more boost to get the same effects that a GT500 can obtain with lower boost since I believe it runs a M112. The M112 runs cooler all around due to the fact that it is able to be larger so it requires less work to do more. Additionally, their intercooler systems take much more coolant than ours do, so not only they have the added benefit of an already cooler setup to begin with, but they have the overall cooling system capacity to keep things cooler.

    To say that it is good enough for the GT500 is a blanket statement. As these blower manufacturers are not going for max performance, they are focused on longevity and overall integrity of the system which the PCA Bosch electric water pump has already proven it is capable of, but at 3.6 gallons a minute, there are more options out there capable of pushing more coolant faster.
