I love the chickens! We're not zoned for them and neighbors have them. Told them the rosters gotta go and they did...they where near my bedroom window. One was super pretty and I did not realize they could get some good air when it ended up in my yard then a tree while the neighbor came over to wrangle it. It eventually went home before they deported it.

    Your garden looks great.

Thank you. I'll have to get some current pictures of it; it got off to a slow start this year because of all the rain and cool weather, but now that things have warmed up and dried out a bit it's taking off in good shape.

Think I am going to have a good round of raspberries this year. Last year sucked!
Gotta get to them before the catbird does. :D

You could try covering them with some garden cloth or some bird netting. :notsure:

No one is admitting planting these lol. But they can certainly continue if this is the result as long as it's not from the tacoma funds. :bananadance:

Very nice. I just picked some beans the other day, and I have some jalapenos that are close, and some sweet peppers getting close.

I built boxes, bought net baskets, lettuce seeds , pH down, and insulation board to make floating beds of lettuce . Haven't had time. Also have the fertilizer. Can't do just anywhere since we're in deer country.

x2; Either citric acid or lemon juice to boost the acidity if you're just doing a water bath.

Random question. I have a weedy plant that grows super fast and comes up through my juniper bushes. I pull them out but can't get to the roots due to the junipers being so thick so they keep coming back. Is there something I can soak the tops in that will kill them off?

Honestly it depends on the weed. Pictures?
