    I noticed that to.

    All I did was to cut the strap right above the frayed ends and then melted the freshly cut ends with a lighter. I also had some stray threads pop up along the edges of the strap where the velcro is sown at. Took a lighter tp that as well

    Hmm. I may have to try that and melt a new piece on. Should be able to find the same material at fabric store right?

    I wasn't adding more material, I was melting the cut ends to seal it from fraying again in the future.

    You would need to sew the new pc together or just replace it completely. I would replace it if theres issues with length. Melting them together will not be as strong and probably break apart on the first use.

    I got a cap, and its my personal preference not to have the tent up that high. Ill be getting another one though!

    I have the other soft tent model from them, Nomad 160. All I can say is that it's the most overpriced, poorly designed piece of crap of a product that I've purchased in my life.
