Ferry or driving?

Not really up for the 90 mile great circle route so I'll be hitting up an AM ferry, and I think Tex is, too.

 

Is this still happening August 26? I'm in.

 

Edmonds I assume? I might catch it with you guys if we can time it right

Driving. I'm probably going to take the ferry back though bc it's cheaper going back.

 

Hmm, every time I look the eastbound and westbound fares are the same for cars. Walk ons are free eastbound though.

Hmm I might be just the Kingston to Edmonds pricing my be different going back. They only charge vehicle weight going back which is only $14.30 the last time I went.

We can meet up if you like. I usually like going to a deli down in the southend to grab some Vietnamese sandwiches and coffee before taking off.

For some reason the link I posted and he quoted shows the southern driving route, I meant to post the ferry route.

 

Nope it's on the way down from where I live (Lynnwood). There's a shop in the international district and another down in MLK.

 

" South Bend" on the Goog maps shows it way south of Olympia. Anyways, let's meet up. I'll be taking Edmonds or or Seattle ferry if I'm solo. I guess I'd carpool if that's what you guys were doing & we're all together but I like taking the ferry.

 

South End* - just a term I use for places south of downtown Seattle.

 

Do people still call that SoDo?

 

I'm pretty sure majority still use SoDo for that district. I like to generalize southend anywhere past downtown and as far to Renton areas.
