    It was super easy, the console lid comes out in a few different pieces, all Phillips screws. The inner lid, the outer lid, and the two plastic hinge covers pop out to reveal those screws. Just remember it's all plastic, so don't over snug them. The console vault was a much needed mod imo, and well worth it.

    It does look awesome in person, I think it took a week and a half tops to get it from consolevault. I recommend the combination style, not the one with the barrel key

    Edit: and my full size G17 gen 3 fits in there
