    Like said earlier, dont be pissed. With a new frame your truck will be unstoppable with such a low mileage. Keep it forever and do the warranty frame recall, if covered of course!

    I think there is going to be another cycle of frames replacement. The new frames are not any better IMO. I have a 2012 I live in the Midwest and I treat it with liquid film simply because I don't want to deal with this in the future.

    I lived on Cape Cod for 45 years, been here for 26. 'Twas me I would see if they will take it back; then find a truck you like that has spent it's life here in Florida, fly down and drive it back--they do not rust out here...

    Yes they did, one way or another it will work out. Toyota will give it a new frame or the dealer will take it back and I'll get something else. It's covered also by the Massachusetts limited used car warranty for defects. Kind of ironic though all these years I've owned American cars, the one time I go Japanese I get porked! LOL!
