Think it was in xru but i had read the accel doesn't play nice with either a x1 or ucon. Might need to find that

Yeah just curious. Wasn't planning on swapping coil packs currently. My only next step is UCON and then we'll see how where I'm at on a Dyno and how much more I can push it. @Torspd would you say 400rwhp is about as much as you wanna go on a stock engine?

 

I don't imagine I'll get that out of a TRD blower, maybe with a 2.5 pulley, another couple grand in mods and some very dicey tuning lol, but I'd like to stick to bolt on stuff for now and see where that gets me. I've decided to push the Tacoma as far as I can and still be semi reliable, and then probably pick up a WRX STI in a year or two and pump that bad boy up so I can get more speeding tickets. I think all my old ones are off my record now, way to long.

 

And by that I mean take it to a track and go as fast as possible, safely, with emergency officials on standby. Obviously.

Now that the wife is home alot more often, and I've got my motorcycle(or her car), I can have the truck down for a bit. Going to be doing motor mounts and pulling out my headers pretty soon to get those shorties welded up finally. Trying not to but any more crap for the truck so I can get about two shelves worth of crap cleaned out of the garage and installed

Saw a black X-Runner this past week and was jelly... that said the FRS has satisfied my speed needs quite well.

 

Should still be a fairly strong following of XR's in your urban playground. You have a nice niche with your FRS as well. :

I can take pictures of it in the box........ no fabbing or wrenching for a few weeks though. To much fun playing hard. Now to recover.

What wideband do you reccomend?

The PLX is attractive...pricewise and it has the 4.9

 

Newest version AEM. The most simplistic.

I am buying a bunch of things this week including the Boomslang. Gonna start my tuning adventure now before my turbo motor is done

 

Not a bother at all. That is the best idea. Especially if you start with the injectors you plan on using with the turbo. It will greatly simplify the future tuning.

Once you have everything plugged up and wired together, if you need any help hit me up. Unless of course you're having a shop to do it.
