That's an awesome set up. I finally got mine and want to add another to the passenger side just encase.
Also considering swapping to the double joint for a little more movement options. IMG_7750.jpg

The Handbrake demanded one for her side once she saw mine in place. Thinking about making a third for the top on my side as well for a small item that I have.

As promised for @boogie3478 some pics of my mount after watching his how-to on his YouTube channel Tacomaholic . I'm using the scosche magnetic mount with the articulated clamp arm. It allows for better placement and clearance of the steering wheel, and the magnetic hold is I snap on snap off action, rather than using both hands for the X mount

That's almost the same setup I use on my Moto Guzzi Griso, right in the center of my bar below my gauges. Nice idea!

My local Lowes doesn't carry a M6 socket head that's longer than 40mm. I used a M6x65 hex head with a huge shank and some other stuff...

    -4 washers
    -Ram ball
    -8mm nut
    -4 washers

The final thread length is almost as long as the stock bolt and the ball is spaced out enough from the handle to allow to full movement.

Yea, I've noticed my local Lowes has a terrible selection of hardware, particularly stainless hardware. Even the stuff they have slots for in the drawers, they usually don't actually have. Those drawers are usually empty. My local Home Depot is FAR better at keeping things in stock and organized, and they carry a lot of stainless hardware in-store.

Badass man! The one thing I noticed though is your steering wheel trim is black instead of silver....Do tell!

One day, while perusing TW, I stumbled upon this thread - https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/feeler-interest-gauge-for-12-15-blackout-interior-parts.449999/

I replaced my steering wheel controls and shift console bezel with black ones. I have the piece on the dash (around the radio, containing the vents) to exchange, but I haven't had time/desire to pull the dash apart. Sometime soon...

Check around for an "ACE hardware," or "Tractor Supply" store in your area as they tend to have well stocked fastener sections.

I "think" I recall someone posting that they mounted an Ultragauge this way.

Our ACE closed and Tractor Supply didn't have them. The remaining local HW store doesn't know what metric is. Agri-Supply would have it but the nearest one is 3 hours away.

That sucks. Reckon I'm lucky as we have allot of pretty good hardware stores around here in Southern Illinois.

New Magnet and Ram Mount parts arrived yesterday and so far I like it. The magnet seemed a little weak at first, but seems to hold my New iPhone SE fine.
