So my grandfather has a 2001 toyota tacoma v6 ...every option you could probably get then... which i'm not to good on the 1st gen trucks but its 4x4 and auto tow package ....everything......the best part.. it only has 917 miles on it..... yes you read it right..it doesnt even have a thousand miles on it ..... he bought it and it has been parked in his garage since then ... he starts it once a month or so just to start it .. it just sits there covered up in the dark all by itself... i tried to get him to sell it to me but he wont lol ... it hasnt been licensed since 01 i think ..its silver with black fender flares.......i bet the 1st gen guys would love to get their hands on that ...hahahaaha just thought id let you guys know whats hiding out there in some place...

I hope the frame stays good, it will be worth a fortune someday!

If it is parked on dirt instead of concrete, the moisture could get to the frame. Are you aware of the buyback of first gen. Tacomas due to frame rot?

I don't care how much they'll pay you, it won't be worth what it's worth if what you say is true! That is, unless they want it for the low miles too. In that case Toyota may give you more than anyone else, anywhere.

But it doesn't sound like it's yours to sell and it doesn't sound like Grandpa wants to let it go. Best to just keep on Grandpa's good side for now.
