My .02 is that you're for sure going to have to do a CMC.

I'm not going to be surprised if this is the case.

    Da big big island!
    Vehicle:
2013 MGM DCSB Tacoma 4X4 TRD Off Road
All pro 3 link SAS kit, Diamond axle, kings on 37" MTR/K
285/75/16 Goodyear MTR. Check my build thread for wheeling video. I only did the CMC when I went to 37s.
You may not be able to get over 3 degrees of caster tho.

No, i can't. My lower control arm bushings/cams are siezed. I'm seeing an expensive future for my truck. I paid $500 for some 285/75-17 Toyo ATII tires, with about 85% tread left. I gotta great deal, now I gotta pay the piper to get them on.

No more taco life for me
just got back from a big trip. thanks for the tag!

Looks like you are in Bend, check out PNW Expedition on Facebook along with PDX Overlanders, you may find a local that can help for a 6 pack of beer. It's rather easy to do, and not really a complicated procedure. TBH, half the guys I know don't even weld a plate over the cut. I have no vehicles that require the CMC so I'm unsure of the possible results, YMMV, but just a FYI.

    Good luck!
