    I believe (not positive) HD just used regular antenna, but you need additional for the satellite radio

    HD radio worked with the the radio as seen with power speakers and Am/Fm antenna being the only items plugged into the truck

    i get HD radio with this year headunit in my 2009 tacoma with oem antenna. I dont have any XM antenna yet, not sure if thats what I need to get XM but everytime i try to get xm it says check antenna
