Cleaned my MAF in between helping my buddy change brake pads on his Ram 3500... For a one ton truck that sees a lot of towing and hauling I was surprised his brakes were still functional after 80,000km on original pads. New "heavy duty ultra premium" pads from NAPA should last him forever.

Where in OBX did you go? The girlfriend and I are heading there next weekend and are still trying to figure out what island or where to camp with the dogs.

Nice truck btw. Also see you are in Lake Norman. Just finished my seaplane rating there last week.

There is 2 treaded holes on each drum cover. You have to put the right size bolt (I don't remember which...) and screw them in in interval to push on the back plate and the cover will pop out

Also take the time to spray some brake cleaner in there  removing all this brake dust will do no harm!

See below. I've had em off a few times before but today was the 1st time I had to use the threaded holes to push em off. Usually just giving them a tug by hand :jerkoff: is enough.

The dipped wheels came out nice. I want bronze wheels on my Barcelona Red but can't either find ones I like or afford ones that I do. What is the dip color called that you used? Read further....burnt copper

I basically just used two of the brackets linked above and drilled through the thule crossbars on my shell. Then i use three bolts and nylon locking nuts on them to hold the brackets on. Its kind of hard to see in the picture i attached sorry, i can get some better pics tomorrow

Edited: think i found a better pic
