We did ET racing last night... A few Tacomas were there, but Quinton was kicking some ass. I did manage to get 2 shots...

What on earth kind of podunk shit is this?!?!

Even in Methville PA people didn't get up to anything like this!

    ... I want in.:p

In all seriousness though it looks like it's a test of how viciously you want to abuse your bump stops on that launch...

Driver side. There's a gromet where other wires run though. By the dead pedal (just above it)

3 hours of pulling/shoveling/taking weeds in the back yard. Finally done though, sometimes a big back yard is not worth it.

Well, that shit was short lived. As soon as I popped that Phantom 4 out of the case on Friday night and finally connected my phone to it, the software started threatening me with flight restriction limits like 100 foot altitude limit and 100 foot diameter if I didn't update to the latest software version which incorporates NFZ locking and ceiling limits. Well, I complied. Bad move. Keep in mind, the drone was perfect before I updated. Everything was flawless.

As soon as I updated the bird, the camera gimbal starts wigging out making a 95 decibel mosquito sound. I go and calibrate everything up to a gimbal calibration. Fuck! So I refresh the firmware and recalibrate and still hangs up at 50% on the gimbal calibration for 40 fucking minutes. At this point I'm worried I will burn out this precision brushless servo, so I abort and find a contact at DJI on their forum. He instructs me to do a sequence of refresh, factory default reset, calibrate, and try the gimbal calibration again.

If that doesn't work, again, time to send the bird in for service. Dafuq!? Nope, shit went back in the box and back to Amazon for a refund. Looks like maybe a waiting game is in order now. See if they resolve this before I buy another bird. The flip side, fucker took amazing video and pictures.

You mean you can't masturbate in front of a drone? Why the fuck does anyone buy one then?

So, there was a little wheeling/mod day here in Tucson. I met some great guys, had fun. They were awesome and helped fix my rear suspension (They did most of the work).
My truck used to do the sideways crooked drive, after swapping the blocks for AAL... no more crookedness... and my rear shocks were completely blown. Those have been replaced with extended 5100s.
The truck now drives straight, smoother and accelerates smoother and faster. It drives like a completely different truck. You guys rock!
