I was looking at the combos...way to rich for my blood. But I figure out here in the open if I can get a good starting range up to 1000, I may be able to sneak in and close the gap as long as the wind is right. But I want to be able to start there.

We have had real good results using the Lecia, the Leupold are very accurate as well. The rangefinder is really sensitive to what you're bouncing the signal off of. When setting steel targets we will set up a 4'x3' white board and range back to the firing line.

    :hattip: evening boys....

:annoyed: why is it that when searching for something on the 'net, even when there are pics of what you want, you end up someplace completely different  :annoyed: want to make this for Simeon's birthday, but can't find the freaking fittings  upload_2017-7-16_21-59-28.jpg

Yes I did pick up a Vortex it seems to work fine in broad day light and shooting distances broad daylight into shaded areas. I did verify it with a fiberglass tape to ensure it was reading true it was not off by any appreciable amount unless you are shooting for Sub 1" groups at that range then I think @Cold Iron has the High Priced tool for that lol. If you want more specifics on light conditions and ranges you will have to wait about 2 weeks I do not have time to do any real heavy testing till then.

LOL well since I got my info from @Cold Iron after spending days reading reviews from real users etc lol I did buy a Vortex and for what little testing I did with it , it is pretty good .

You should be able to pick those up at any plumbing supply, but don't go to Home Depot.or Lowes. You'll only get some of what you need. You'll probably have to get a count and order it.
