I have hit this ledge before but it was dug out way more this time. Also never hit it as center as I did this time. I really wanted to see what double locked on 35's and gears can do. Turns out, if I want to hit this kinda ledge I really need a crawl box to slow those wheels down. Either way, still proud of the truck.

:p To be fair though, that ledge was pretty gnarly. Didn't need to take that line but i wanted to just to see if I could haha and my front seat should be open

Got the correct sized bushings in my 5125's, and my relocation plates come in.

    3C9FF40D-D64A-4822-81D5-11717D321959_85015f09bac501573c12d499a2e1738f06fe8763.jpg

Just need the damn dakar's now. Also got some Matsuba u-joints to replace the one on my spare DS. And my pelican case for spare parts including the DS should be waiting at home now. Getting closer to the goals of what I wanted to have before this trip. Last big essential cost to go is my steering rack. Got one big wheeling trip at the end of the month and after that the truck will see only easy adventures.

Getting the plano case setup for spares. Might even be able to get the spare alternator in there, we'll see. Def will get the the spare tie rods in though.

Haha yeah I was hoping to be able to get two cv's in but I might copy @Dirty Pool 's way to store another under the bed.

And yeah I still need to make a mount for those before Moab too. Hoping to get the chop saw from my Dad next weekend.

Yea those cases do run out of room pretty quickly but one cv is beter than none. Looks like theres Still some room for ball joints and tie rods in there though!

Yup! Now they just gotta get here from Low Range. The one has been back ordered for a while, same with my springs. Was hoping to get the rear suspension in before Takeover in two weeks but I doubt that will happen now. I also think I located the clunk I have been having in my front end. It's def either the driver side ITRE or the rack itself. The rack has been leaking like a sieve for over a year, would not be surprised if there is play in the rack guide now. I didn't take the boot off to confirm which it is though since it will all get replaced in a couple weeks.

I refer to my spares kit as my OSK. Stands for Oh Shit Kit. The good news is its big enough to hold most everything I need in an emergency except for my tools. And it's lockable for those 'public' places. The bad news is it's waaay too heavy for me to pick up off the ground by myself. Means I have to load it and unload it when it's sitting on the tailgate. Lol

Haha I like that name, "Oh shit kit". Curious to know what you and your group travel with and if I'm forgetting anything? Belts is of course included in my list as well, just not this case. Also spare CV boots and clamps, though less than necessary.

That's a pretty solid OSK. Got some things to add to mine, though having spare LBJ's are pretty pricey spares. But I guess so is a spare DS.

My spare LBJs are not new, they are the ones I swapped out last time put new ones in. I think they are ideal for trail spares.

I am curious what the going rate for a used, complete rear driveshaft? Any idea?

I got mine on clist for $100 and I realized after the fact that it's got a bad u-joint. @45acp was hoarding them for a while so he can probably find them for better deals near you guys and share his secrets lol
