Thats in Asheville? I might go to that too. At least i want to haha.

I have a 9 day camping trip in the middle of August that im going on. Dont want to sleep in any hotels.

Im thinking of just buying the tent that I want, so at least I will have a tent. Im already tired of sleeping in the bed. And now I have the bed slide, it will be even worse.

Yep it's in Asheville. On the grounds of the Biltmore estate. I mostly just want to go to see everyone's set ups. Secondly sit in on a few of the seminars and do the recovery classes and try to be a bit more prepared for our 4-week trip next year. Check out all the vendors etc.

Groups are allowed to stake out an area so everyone can camp together. If we have others interested we should plan on that.

If you read through it the Apalachain rondevous is the weekend before at Uhawrrie and they work in conjuntion with each other. Uhawrrie is offering free camping in the time between the 2 as well to help people hold over until they go to OE. There is a ton of stuff to do in the Pisgah national forest around Asheville also. We're looking at one or both depending on daughter's schedule with band at school it may be band parent weekend at VT

I figured you would of paid around $1450 for it since new its roughly $1800. Killer deal though man. With mine being used, I cant complain too much as the previous owner did a lot of nice things like sanding off all the sharp edges to prolong the life of the cover and stuff.

That looks pretty sweet but I'm already out of vacation this year at work so I won't be able to swing that. Maybe next year. I never saw a link to that on their website.

I have been to Asheville for mountain biking, but that area has a lot of character and is worth the trip alone to check out. Should be a cool seminar.

It's on the rt side of the page on the overland expo web site. As you scroll down through it's just several things listed with no real refference as to what they're for. I just clicked on one and got lucky

Should probably ask who is going in the NC thread. Or there might be a thread by its self.

That sucks that you have a set number of vacation days per year.

I have hours off monthly, But it accumulates.

My vacay time is determined by how many hours I work

Generally, I will get 4.5hrs vacay on a 100hr check

I kind of like that. Because i like to volunteer for OT. I think my company should give more for that. Or I should be able to cash out mine, if im not using it. Or I should be able to sell it to a coworker
