I'm back. Reluctantly. Could have used another week of mid-60 degree temps and views like this to set my camera down in front of.

Yep. Driving close to there. I was driving my grandmother around in her ride, but still did the lean and stare.

 

So it begins.

 

So she's sea worthy?

 

The hull is in tact, just oxidized. So a little elbow grease will solve that. The engine appears to be complete and it was winterized before it was parked. So, its looking currently, that rebuilding the carbs, replacing the fuel lines,and replacing some other rubber bits that rotted should be the extent of getting it running. Once thats sorted, ill deep clean the interior, probably replace some of it. And get the gauges working again (they never have). Im going saturday to get started on it.

 

The only bad thing is the engine type, the boating community absolutely despises it so it looks like information and parts are a bit scarce. Its an inline 4 cylinder with dual carbs, it cant be THAT bad.

 

Night wheeling at Bridgeport this Saturday. I'm going with @Tundra2Play and maybe a few others from here. My plan is to meet at Buc-ees by TMS around 4:30 but rolling out by 5pm. Should have time to get out to the park, air down and hope to be on the trails by 6:30. Going to try to do some harder trails before it gets dark. Then probably ride on some easier stuff until 1 or 2am and head home. Admission is $40, the regular $25 entry plus $15 for overnight. I may meet up at Buccees, but if TX4WD rolls out i might ride with my buddy since ill be parking mine this weekend.

 

No, they should still be open at 8am as usual. They just won't close until 7pm Sunday.

Got all the body done, moved the axle. Axle back a little, and got the lift system to work. Just need to wire and paint it and put the 35s on
