That's a pretty big assumption there... You don't know me. I get really involved in these builds, grew up in the business, was forced to build my first car, have restored multiple classics and currently drive a 2015 URJ200 that will be getting a similar treatment to this Tacoma. I'm a car guy, I get involved.

True. I just really don't want to come off like I'm using this forum as an advertisement. It's nice to be able to talk about the truck with others that enjoy them and get honest feedback without seeming like a "car salesman".

Thanks, I had no idea where to put it. The other spot was going to be just inside the tailgate but after needing to make the plate for the switch it just looked cool there. Hope to try it out soon!

Wow! Good job to you and everyone involved in this build. Which UME suspension did you go with?

We did the OME 887 front coils and 90021 shocks, did not add the extra leaf in the rear, added the toytec diff drop just for good measure and did the spc adjustable uca's. It really works out nice, no more nose dive when braking. It's a pretty firm ride but not bad. And just enough lift to fit those 285/70 17 Ridge Grapplers with no rubbing. Had to go with the 8.5 inch wide Methods and the 0 offset to make them fit. Originally wanted to do the TRD Pro 4Runner wheels but they are too narrow for that big a tire to look right and the offset was wrong. Also did the hypertech speedo recalibration for the larger tire.

More than you asked for but it kind of explains the suspension choices. It's a good kit for the money, would love to do the BP-51's but we're talking 2k more.

    Pricing should be complete today.

Really? There's no need for that. I just noticed he wasn't saying where he was from. I did pm him asking. Wanted to look at the truck. If it came out wrong I'm sorry.

You are probably right. The post didn't read well for me. And it wasn't your post I was referring to anyways.

Looking at the lot pics it may be. It's big. And that's the only one I know that has a lot that big.

I didn't think he came off as a salesman. He stated why he's doing it. Which is cool. But hey if he makes a sale it's even better. And there's some knowledge knowing he's done this. And another person to throw ideas off of, if he's cool with that? @like2detail

@like2detail I'm throwing kings OEM reomte res. With click adjusters on and the JBA UCA. Would you still put on the diff drop? Dakars on the rear.

Last thing for me to say. How could I misunderstood when u call some one a douche canoe. But I'm over it moving on.
It's a pretty good setup on the truck. And I didn't think I like the color but damn it's growing on me.

I've got basically the exact setup you're going with (minus the adjusters on the resis), I would avoid the diff drop.

Really. And why is that. Just asking not saying (I can't believe he's not doing the diff. drop). How much did u lift? Did you go full up? I'm doing 700lb springs. And what size tire did u go with?

@like2detail I have 17" rockstar wheels from factory what's the offset of those. Want to do 285-70-17. But don't want to change rims yet. It came with 265-65-17. Thinking I may have to do spacers?

I've got 650 springs, 285/75/16 tires, hard to say how much lift I've gained as I went from Toytec coilovers with 5100s in them to the Kings (didn't measure either). My CV angles seem just fine, haven't had any issues and I've got about 8k miles on this setup.
