I had some coworkers ride with me to lunch a few weeks back and they were like damn these tires have a little bit of road noise at 70+mph lol. I didn't even notice really until they said something because my music is usually turned up.

Better than nothing.

They caused compression here last year bumping a bunch of people up to just over a dollar less than me. Said they would fix it this year. New county manager was the one to come in and show them they had fucked shit all up with their budget before he came in. Now we are all getting a 2% cost of living raise and have to deal with this shit another year. Which is only making their fix cost them even more because it's going to be a percentage for years of service. Mine next year will be multiplied by 20.

Bright asses decided we needed a community center with a huge pool and other shit and were going to sell residents memberships. Yeah they didn't go for that shit. So now there is a million dollar facility that if you are a member is great because there's not a lot of people when you go. Or there's a few that pay the $10 daily fee to go in. Now they are building a new library and saying that it's all on a federal fund. Sure it is until it's finished then you have to pay for power, water and more employees in that bigger building.

They cut 4 million out of the budgets. They did cover the increase of $300k on our insurance so it didn't go up on us. But, they only affects those of us that pay for our families on it. If you are the only one on the insurance it's free. I kind of disagree with a 2% across the board raise if you just got a $2.50 raise last year and the rest of us got 2% and have been there for years. Some had been there less than a year and got the big raise.

 

Those things may have a few thousand left on them, if that.

 

Meh they aren't too bad. Only issue is $350 is way too much for them. Knock off another $150 and I think they'll be better priced. They could just be a tire inbetween a dying set and a new set. My roommate did that, he can't afford lockers, gears, rims and 35's so he bought a shitty set of A/T's to last him till then.
