My climate control lights do not come on when I turn my headlights on. I took the climate control panel and tested it with alligator clips and a battery and the lights come on, but when it is on the truck the lights will not come on when the headlights are on. Any information on possible wiring issues from the control from the headlights to the climate control would greatly be appreciated

I would start by checking voltage at the connector.

You need a simple test light to do it. Ground the test light and then probe the pins in the connector for voltage when you turn on the lights.

Sorry....but I don't have a wiring diagram of that area.

@Plain Jane Taco Once I do that, what should I do with my findings. Whether the voltage is incorrect or not

If there's no voltage at the connector then you have something wrong in front of that. If you do have voltage at the connector then you might have a bent pin/terminal in either the male ir female end that connector.

There are electrical guys that know more than me. Hopefully they will chime in

I would ask the mods to move this thread to either Technical Chat or Lightning for better exposure to the electrical gurus
