Honestly i would say that its close to the first meetup also! i think that the Tacos and Tacos meet that we did was the best turn out so far. We need to plan more of those when we have better weather.

I maybe attending this also! I need to paint my sliders, install my IFS skid, and mount my tent before i go though...

Awesome, just saw that. Debating on this one or nearly double the price to get a "beefier" one (1000lb more GVW) with a 2" tongue, 15" tires (easier to source than these 12s) and a built in tongue jack for easy leveling/storage from Big Tex. Not sure if it's worth nearly double though.

it doesnt have to be the meet up, but would anybody be game for a group outing to pole position in Frisco? My racing foot is getting itchy and I hate going alone.

Not yet, its quite a bit more expensive and outdoor though. Im cheap and its hot. Might go this fall when it gets cooler out.

 

I have a new design for my universal mounts and i also have some hi-lift specific mounts now!

 

Next time I get an email from them i will post it up, but they run deals sometimes where you can get 10 races for $100. Its a lot cheaper than buying them when you get there. I have 13 races left i think. I need to go out there and use them!

 

Yeah, if there is a deal. Im down. Not having a "racecar" for the first time since I was 16 is getting under my skin.

Works for me. Going to see once it comes in if I can use a shop that has a lift to make the install a lot easier than doing it in the driveway, if not... will be done in my driveway under the carport... but I will provide plenty of beer!

 

This was just something my buddies from Beaumont and I built in two weekends. He has an awesome welder and mines crappy. I'm going to save up for a good one and I might build some if I could figure out how to bend them cheaply.

 

Are we doing Westish side as @Naveronski would like? somewhere with food, eff this battleship in boiling sun BS with a food truck for a guy that didnt even show up in a non- Tacoma.

 

Yeah you could. One person buys the races, and then you can share the races with people you bring up there.

 

Im not sure how long it will take to install but i now that Shay could get us on the base in FTW and we could use the auto hobby shop!
