700? BDS told me they only can do 650....

Can you adjust the ride height on the truck? It seems like the reservoir gets in the way for that....

Na I have a 700lbs 14" spring on 'em... I had Fox put the new springs on when I sent 'em in for a rebuild

Adjusting 'em is a pita because the little hole you put your spanner wrench into goes a full 360*, but when its on the back side of the coilovers you can't get it with a spanner wrench. I took a punch, cut the tip off, welded it to form an L at the end, shove it in there then beat it with a hammer :bananadead:

Well, the collar has several holes to grab it at various positions. BUT I can't get the wrench on since it either hits the mount tower or the reservoirs hose...... :annoyed:

Mine only has one hole... :anonymous: wtf Fox

Try sticking a screw driver and pivoting enough to get the wrench on? Adjusting it while it was on the truck was a pita, just gonna take 'em off if I want to change the ride height again

Idk, maybe it had multiple holes but I swear it only had one. I built my contraption for a reason...

How to you keep them in place if you adjust them on the ground?

Btw. I got a good laugh out of the manual. Rebuild every 10k miles. That's not even two oil changes.....

On my ADS with resi's, @Texoma had the front off the ground. He used a bar on the end of a 5/16" punch inserted in the hole on the collar. He would use this for leverage and crank it down moving the punch to the hole on the collar that lined up. This and lots of wd40 to get it moving... maybe you need a bar at the end for leverage? He used a floor jack handle

I have the wrench, It just doesn't fit on the shock while it's installed.

We were unable to use the ADS wrench at all... it just didnt work. Could you remove the resi from the mount temporarily? Feels like this may be your only option.

EDIT... looking at the pic, it may not help. This is when we need @Texoma!!

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
That's a fancy paper weight you got there. Use a 5/16 punch, spray lube, like WD40 on the threads, upper spring and lower spring, back the adjuster off a 1/4 turn, more lube, then crank to desired position. In some cases, you may need to turn the elbow that comes off the shock to the reservoir a little bit to make room. Careful not to lose any oil from the shock. Very little loss is ok.
