Hope you were taking the mileage deductions. That adds up after a while.

I'm considering going back to ground tents. I dislike not being able to change and move around too much in the RTT, but I do love being up off the ground. Much decision, many conundrums.

I have one, but I don't have an extended tent so I'm still climbing down the ladder outside and nekked :anonymous:

Similar. Rock garden might even be easier. The hardline on the water fall looked harder but there was a busted rig so we went around.

Just bring the tent with you next time. They don't take up much room. When you get to camp, you'll have options. Sleep in the ground tent one night and the RTT the second night. You'll realize that once you go EAF.... I can't think of anything that rhymes with that.

Personally, if I didn't have the camper and family, the tent @ChandlerDOOM is selling would be perfect. Similar to this:

Same price as a soft roof RTT. way faster setup & breakdown. Sleep easy knowing that snakes can't get you ;)

Some cool 30- second setup 4-season ground tents too. Roof rack required since they are long when packed. This place is in Sac.

I always bring a ground tent everywhere I go, it doesn't bother me sleeping on the ground plus is gives you options for camp sites that are not accessible by vehicle

Spotted at the rear end in Livermore. 4wd Long traveled front and rear. FYI the rear end does not repair driveshaft's.
