I'm down for a minden run in the future.
I'm running a cb. Cobra 75. I may be getting a set of two way radios to talk to spotters more effecietly but that's down the road.

Minden is much easier for me right now. Grandfather isn't doing great so kinda need to stay within range of Toronto so if you guys want to go up to Minden one weekend I'd likely be able to make it.

Same CB I'm looking into getting too

Sorry to hear about your grandfather.

The cobra 75 is a decent unit. Easily installed, and placed. I have mine beside the gas pedal behind the radio if that makes sense. Just have it velcroed down. Run the mic between the seat and the centre console/arm rest. For the antennae im just using a cheapy on a hood mount.

Hood mount like the ones for pod lights? Might do the same.

And thanks dude. He's 93, almost 94 so not surprised he's not doing the greatest. Just been helping them out since my nonna is busy helping him so just cleaning and cutting the grass for them during the week. Just don't want to be too far or out of cellphone range in case something happens and I've got to come back to Toronto.

Friend of mine and myself are planning on Minden hydro line August 5th I believe (Saturday of the August long weekend) if any of you care to reach.

I'll be down to do a trip in August.
I am running Cobra HH38WXST, it's good for times when you need to get in and out of the vehicle. Didn't work well last time at Ardbeg tho, I completely forgot to change the batteries, it was dying then.

You'll be fine, I am going with 5100 set at 2.5 on the front and 265 tires. Last time I did perfectly fine with 245 highway only tires and no lift. Truck was sagging at the front from all the skids and tow bar I have, and I still only got like 2 dents on the skids.

Ok cool. I don't have skids yet and I'm trying my hardest to hold off until next summer for those. I do have sliders though.

So this week might be the week of the Orca cooler, or the empty cardboard box filled with foam!

Totally f'd the reply above up...

Meant to post this concerning the Ardbeg run July 27-28/29

While I would love to get out and do the Black Lake loop with you guys, I'll be in Ottawa for the National HOG rally that weekend.

I'll be hanging with much fatter and uglier people that weekend.

Also I'm doing Camp NL on the Aug 17 weekend up in the Minden area. Have any of you registered for that event through OF4WD? I hope I'm not the only Taco there. Should be a sea of Jeeps.

Let us know if any other runs you guys are planning. I'm looking forward to Ardbeg again.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
You check the price on them now.... almost $$500- 1000.00 - I'd say something wrong there, that's for sure

... or a picture of the cooler in an envelope! LOL

But seriously remember to not sign for any parcel size smaller than the cooler! Just take a pic of it at the PO and forward it to Amazon or your CC company for proof of fraud.

Absolutely! I saved the dimensions and weight of the package written in the description and if the box do not respect it I'll do what is needed to get my money back. We might be guinea pig for this now but if it is a fraud it might help Amazon in the future to reinforce security for customers when "deals" like this appears on their site

Yes it is fraud, when I got my refund and spoke to the customer support rep. he said the tracking number will end up being dead or already used for something else.

if you put my tracking number associated with my purchase into Canada post, it says it was delivered in April of 2017.
