    Yeah, I just can't see myself neutering the OGT with a set of mall-terrains. That'd be almost as bad as pulling the front locker out. If I can convince myself to follow through with it, the best solution would be to cut back on the thrilling heroics. It'll probably be something like telling a dog not to bark though...an exercise in frustration. :frusty:

    Haha, okay...

    The OGT is the name of my truck. Stands for ODd Green Taco (since it's O.D. Green).

    SAS = Solid Axle Swap, which is cutting out the IFS (Independant Front Suspension) putting in a solid front axle like what a Jeep has. It's a lot stronger and you can get loads more articulation out of it. It's stupid expensive though unless you're a skilled fabricator and can do the fab work yourself.

    DB = Drop Bracket lift. It's where you cut out the factory Lower control arm mounts and crossmember and install a drop bracket that your front diff, steering rack, and lower control arms mount to, effectively dropping everything down 5-6" to lift the front end.

    Drop bracket uses existing mounts just drops the mounts.

    Dunno about 2nd Gens for sure since I wasn't paying any attention to it when we were under Spencer's truck, but on 1st gens you gotta cut out the cross member that the steering rack bolts (the rear mount on the diff bolts to it as well) to and some other stuff as well, might not be the LCA mounts...maybe it was the big bump stop strike plates or something. That's why they say a DB is a permanent modification.
