Anyone need a pair of 2" wheel spacers? Figured I'd post up here before actually making a for sale ad. $50 plus shipping or local pick up.

So I'm looking to up the performance of my suspension for high speed driving over rough terrain, I want to do Chevy 63's and run spring under. However I was wondering if anyone else has run a similar setup and if so how it works or if I should do something else

You should post that question in the long travel thread, your not going to get much spring under input in the mid travel thread.

What is your front setup like? If you are not going LT in the front than this will probably be a bit much for the rear and you can just do a shock relocation and run a longer shock/ good leaf pack spring over.

Personally I love the idea of doing a shit ton of work to relocate spring and shackle mounts to run a set of junkyard springs on a truck for which they were not intended.

    Sarcasm intentional.

Technically speaking, a 200 psi nitrogen charge in the shock would exert force equal to 200*surface area of the piston, yes?

Hey all so after my shackle flip I wasn't able to re-connect the E brake cable to the leaf pack is this normal? should I just cut the bracket off? It almost looks like when flexing if it were connected it would cause issues???? Can someone smarter than me help here hahaha

I just slid that little tab further down and attached it where it would go without binding the cable.

I tried bending the bracket and tried using zip ties but after them continuing to break and fallnoff I just ended up cutting that bracket off. Haven't had any issues

Who knows about poly UCA bushings and coil bucket gussets?

Having issues keeping grease on the ends of the bushings that ride against the gusset. It also requires pulling the arm out completely to get grease in there. I grease it with a liberal amount of SuperLube, reinstall, and it works perfectly for a day of offroading before it starts squeaking again. :annoyed:

Same here. No noise until the gussets.

It's horrible on the slow, rocky trails I wheel on too. Non stop noise, sounds like a damn group of seals barking.

It's a sad state of affairs when it's too squeaky for me.

Was thinking I may be able to add a zerk that somehow gets grease on that surface, but that still wouldn't solve the issue of it starting to squeak right away. :notsure:

You could try a penetrating oil like 6in1 that would be much easier to apply. I don't know how long it would last, but I know that's a good oil and might do the trick.

Noooo not on urethane bushings. If you don't want noises bushings get delrin bushings...problem solved and zero lube needed.
