I just got a new 2013 taco 4x4 no trd unfortunately and wanted to add more. All the stuff is stock on it. I want to do a lift and want some new shocks. I've heard the bilstein 5100 are good but if I get those what do I need to do for front and back? And what coilovers will help with that?

5100's are great budget shock that will provide a very nice ride on and off road.

    I went with (4) 5100, Toytech spring and a 3 leaf pack.

You done messed up now A-a-ron. Once you start modding these trucks you can't really stop. :)
But yeah, 5100s are a good way to go unless you can bugdet for significantly more. Toytec makes some complete kits that include an Eibach coil for the fronts that will yield a nicer ride than compressing the stock spring. Pair that with a single or progressive add-a-leaf and you're good unless you decide to do more. Then next is probably new tires and possibly wheels.

3" Suspension lift and bigger tires. Can't go wrong with that. It'll be a good start ;)

(OP)...Before you start upgrading your truck you need to ask yourself a few questions, 1. what are you intentions to do with the truck - this will determine what type of suspension you put on the truck (looks or wheeling). 2. Is this truck a daily driver - when you start modding your truck you will sacrifice MPG (be prepared). 3. what is my budget - this will also determine what suspension you will want and what size suspension (this can get $$$$$$). Take from experience, I failed to ask myself these questions and now I can't stop spending$$$ on my truck, and I don't do any wheeling, just pulling my camper. Everyone on this site has great advice, but all in all it's your truck and your $$$. Please use common sense before getting deep into something you can't financially get out of or you possibly won't be satisfied with. Just my 2cents. Good Luck

Really good advice. My truck is a daily driver and is heavily modded enough now that it's not ideal for that task. I wouldn't change anything about the current setup, but know what you're getting into. Also, I made the mistake many times over of buying something cheaper first, then buying the high end version later when I was no longer happy with the initial purchase. If you can save up or afford it, buy the nicer version of whatever you're getting first.

Unfortunately I wasted a pile of money falling for that exact same mistake :(
