    What part of Japan?

My wife is Japanese from Sasebo in Nagasaki Prefecture.

Eventually I would like to live there part of the year as well.

My wife's brother's wife is from Fukuoka and has mentioned how beautiful Sasebo is (They live in San Diego currently) Were you in the Navy there? Did Sasebo get affected by the flooding?

My wife grew up in Sendai, Miyagi Prefecture. Her mom just passed away very suddenly (cancer discovered to passed away was 4 months) We have to dissolve her company. She did a lot of B2B with Tendo Mokko, so we have to drive to Tendo a lot. We bought our Subaru in Yamagata. We stay in my mother in laws place in Sendai.

I lived in Ayase, Kanagawa for 3 years. All the base cop vehicles were HiLuxes. Although skylines were everywhere and really cheap.

They look like they're so long that you'll run out of thread before you get them tight enough. I just installed a wingle Wheelers AAL a few days ago, and the stock U bolts fit just fine. I'd return or sell those after install and get a few bucks back.

I think they are great. They are about 2x more expensive than a cheapy wiper blade, but they seem to last MUCH longer and are much more flexible, so you have better contact with the windshield.

I was thinking about going with long travel Kings, but those wiper blades are just too pricey. :D

If you want straight tape lines, you have to pull the tape while the derp is still wet. Start by building up the layers, and try not to put too much on the tape lines. Once you have the appropriate number of layers, then give the tape lines a good last spray. Now, before the paint has a chance to dry, carefully pull up the tape. The last spray will melt the under layers and keep the whole thing from sticking to the tape.
I had the same problem, then I finally watched some of the "Dip-my-car" videos. Derping can be tricky and you need to build up layers and pull tape before it dries. A lot can go wrong, but you always can pull it up and start again. It's a good idea to buy cheap derp when it's on sale and experiment.

You get used to it. Then it freaks you out when you have to change back. I was going from Japan to Korea every couple of months so that got old quick. And remembering which side of the car is the drivers.

Guessing he's tracking on a Scanguage/Ultraguage, which aren't the most accurate.

I use the scanguage to help my driving style, which was a big help. I simply do the math at the pump at fillup, I average 23-23.6 and my best was 24. My truck is a DCLB which might make a difference. On the highway using cruise control is your best friend, my drive is flat highway cruising 65, and 40-50 on mostly flat backroads (MD/PA). I also have a tonneau cover, and I've found that my truck gets the best mileage running 89 Octane, so that's all its gets.

It’s too bad a lot of these cool cars cannot be imported easily. Then again if they could, they wouldn’t be so cheap.

It’s actually the intersections that make me stop and think heavy about it.
