I use a plastic sled year round to get under mine. I have a paved driveway but it's in terrible condition.

On a lift, it'd be a piece of cake, you would poke your head up in front of the cross member and it'd be at eye level. On the ground, you can't see where threads. I use those filter pliers for removal, they seem to work well for me.

This is why I don't do mine. Never had an issue with JL that I use so for now....

 

I in reality had 0 down..on paper my in-laws gave us equity of 20percent.

That and 2004 they handed them out like candy. Now it's so strict

A guy I worked with bought his house the same time i bought mine.
I got my balls broken with outstanding credit and 50% downpayment.

He was a new citizen from a former iron Curtain country who already went bankrupt within a couple years of getting here. Not a pot to piss in yet qualified for every free program you can think of including no points mortgage and free closing.

Cool. I might have to go and get myself one of those down, regardless if I do the change myself or not, just cause you're all saying how good it is.

I might take you up on that offer since you're not too far from me anyway. Plus it would be a cool thing to do and finally get to meet you in person.

Good morning folks. Back to the grind... still not used to being back.

 

We have an underpass on a side road here that takes the top off of a truck or trailer at least a time or two a year. The height is marked on the bridge, but apparently they don't read it. The town put up a second set of signs with detour information and it still happened, then they put up flashing signs and that didn't help either. Pretty amazing.

 

Can't fix stupid!

 

I also remember a field trip in elementary school where the bus driver got to a bridge that was under 10'. She was trying to figure out if she should turn around or not. 10-year-old me told the teacher that other buses I had seen said 10'6" on them and I bet this one was similar. I heard her talk to the driver and she goes "You think so? I think we'll be okay". After all, who pays that much attention to a 3rd grader about something like that. Sure enough, she drove under and crushed both roof hatches in.

I want to "show off" a bit and post a video my nephew took of me jumping off some cliffs in Portugal, into this river that's literally next door to my grandfather's house.

How do I get that one here, since it looks like we can't upload videos onto here?
