My dealer stuck in the LCA plugs less than a week before this video was taken. It's been doing this its whole life. I drive this road a few times a week

Yes, I brought a list of stuff with videos. Just said "it wasn't clear enough, could be another sound". I took him outside to the truck to rock the truck so he could see the recreated squeaky leafs...

See post #26. There is a fix for this. most dealers know about it. If Dealer A does not fix or make excuses then take to Dealer B.

2009-12 Tacomas. T-SB-0062-12. Exactly same problem.

The only time my truck made that noise was going over a bridge in Newport news during a really bad storm. It was a brutal crosswind.

    I haven't heard it since.

Toyota will pay them to fix the issue when the issue isn't listed for my truck? I assume that will be their response

You have to take it in, with the video you took, and tell them how annoying it is. Mine started out slow but by the end it was doing it 80% of the time. I tried my own fixes which all failed. It drove me insane.

Thankfully I found the TSB on TW and that guys were taking the truck in to get it fixed.

Even if there is no TSB for the 3rd gens, this is still a fail on Toyota's part and is not normal for the truck or any vehicle to make such a noise. It should be covered in your bumper to bumper warranty. Use your video as evidence and play up how often it happens if you need to.
