Toyota > Isuzu

Hello everyone,

I am a recent college graduate, and I spent a lot of time trying to decide on a new vehicle to purchase. I ultimately decided on a new Taco, and I couldn't be happier. I drove a 1999 Isuzu all through college, and while it was a fun suv, I always longed for a truck. After putting about 1000 miles on this thing, I'm totally sold. A tacoma was the right choice.

Originally from Charles Town, WV, and just recently moved to Charlotte, NC. I'm 23 years young and just started my job as a Mechanical engineer.

I've already spent a couple weeks browsing some of the topics of this forum, and I'm really impressed by the community. Because of this, I decided that it was time I became a member.

Lastly, a little about my plans for the truck. I bought it new, and I plan on driving it until the day it dies. I won't be doing much off-roading, but I do plan on using it to get to some tough spots, as well as tow and haul dirt bikes, kayaks, etc. My planned upgrades so far are a new grille, wheels and tires, some decal work, new sound system, and a few other minor cosmetic things.

In short, I couldn't be happier to be part of the Tacoma community, and I look forward to networking!

Before you buy mods for your truck watch the Group Buy forum! For example, Front Runner roof racks are 15% off this week. Might be good if you plan to haul shtuff and need to tie down to the roof.

Are you guys spelling Charleston wrong on purpose or is there actually a place in WV called Charles Town? If the latter...what the fuck WV?

Yup, Charles Town and Charleston.... pretty silly, but it's WV, so what can you expect?

I've been to Marietta many times... I worked at the Dupont plant near there in Washington, WV for about a year during school. Nice area.
