First sorry to hear about your Mother in Law. A very emotional time coupled with all the logistics that go along with estates/assets, etc...

Negative on the Navy but a good guess given the US does have a base in Sasebo and I am not sure about the flooding. My wife didn't say anything about it.

We actually meet here in the States via match.com. She was working here on a transfer from the parent company in Japan which made for a seamless job transfer when we got married since she was already here and authorized to work so there was no lapse between getting married and waiting for a green card.

Some day I hope to explore northern Japan but so far most of my time has been spent in central/east and southern. Furthest north I have gone is Takasaki, Gunma Prefecture because I have some friends that live there and one day trip in Nagano, Nagano Prefecture.

I have also spent a good about of time in Hiroshima as I was previously engaged to a girl that lived there.

We are planning on going back for a few weeks next year so her parents can meet the 2nd grandchild. We didn't go this year because we had the baby.

How much lift did those flip shackles add? And where you get them?

Oh wow, I REALLY like that color. I'm probably going to paint my wheels this weekend, and may have to copy you. That looks amazing.
