    Yeah, I kinda figured, but was hoping you would be able to make it out this way?! :bowdown::fistbump:

    Btw, did you get your gears in yet?

    No gears yet till I start getting massive pay checks. That move out here killed me on gas. Really need to RE-gear to help with the weight and towing. I got 8.75mpg trying to get out of the LA area (stop and go traffic). Then on the next fill-up I got 9mpg and then the next fill-up I got 9.27mpg. I could literally watch the needle drop as I drove. My wife in the new 4runner got 17+mpg the who way towing a trailer.

    THAT SUCKS Ed!!! Back in the day, I had an old '88 Chrysler New Yorker drive-by shooter that did the same thing!!!

    So what do the San Diego peeps think about making this a true overland trip? San Diego to San G by dirt?

    I'm sure with a route pre planned we could do it most of the way.

    Not sure yet, I'll most likely leave after work (6-ish PM) but still need to figure it out with Madison and Charlie as to what exactly will happen. Just booked the spot though!

    @BLKTRUCK
    I got spot #19
    It'll be myself, @4x4Banger and @YotaGurlIAm (if she can get work off)

    Stuff n' Thangs
    that would be a fuckn' task, id have to take more days off. The only route i can really think of would be out through Ocotillo, around the salton sea, over the 10 and into Berdoo Canyon, up into JT. Then the 62 to Pioneer town and up (I think burns canyon?) whatever trail goes up into big bear, then skyline trail to clarks grade to the campground.....

    I think mike is trying to get a spot with @4x4Banger but idk if he can go yet. If not, & if i can get that weekend switched then mike and I will take a whole spot....hahaha
