    Lots of sail boat fuel
I once had a new guy hand grenade a 1/4 bottle of never cease down his chest and spill a bottle of ethyl mercaptan in the same week. He was warned about both. The never cease came off 3 days later. Ethyl, she stuck around a bit longer.

I worked underground pipe systems. I'm pretty sure I sweat silver.

Awesome Guys! are you using the prinsu mounts (for the hetric) lights or the factory mounts?

I ordered those mounts, and didnt end up using them. The ones that worked for me came with the rigid light

damn this is so true. A little goes a long way. I bought this bottle about 15 years ago.. still have it. I tend to use the high temp antiseize in a tube (copper based) just to keep the mess limited and dont have to worry if I am using it on high temp or low temp part. VersaChem and Permatex both make a copper antisieze. I can find the VersaChem antisieze in smaller tubes at OReillys.

I've heard that some were able to use the mounts that came with it but I was too dumb I guess. I had to fab my own out of Aluminum L channel.

You can defiantly use the one provided with the xTorch, no problems

Excuse the paint art. This is what me and a few other people with the xTorch did to mount, mount it to the first crossbar rather then underneath the wind faring. What you did works , but isn't entirely necessary.

EDIT: Just realized the paint drawing wasn't entirely necessary, found a better picture on my build thread here showing it mounted up

Paint art is awesome, haha. That's what I had expected to be able to do but my brackets were too short. They do not extent past the back of the light. I thought I may have been shipped the wrong brackets but when I asked Retrofit Source they said they are all the same. Mine are probably an inch long.....

Mine are short aswell, go check out the picture and see if its the same as yours. It would be weird if they sent you a tiny mounting bracket :notsure:

Ah I see the problem. So the mounting option we opted with doesn't utilize the middle hole on the mounting bracket only the top hole/slider slot. When you do that it will provide with enough clearance. Here is a picture...

I see! In my sweaty frustration I had considered that option but didnt know if it would be stable enough, especially being rattled off-road. Any issues?

I have had it this way for 2 months with two off road trips under its belt and it is solid as a rock. I cant even shake it out of position. I didn't use locktite but that would be another way to make sure it wouldn't budge.
