Gah this sucks!

So the college chick I was "dating" has decided for us to be friends once again. She says her school and work is interfering with our old relationship. But yet shes "talking" to a guy who smokes pot and appearantly she really likes him. I call B.S.!!!!!

For the past 3 days we have been fighting in texts and over the phone and a little bit in person. Istill want to have a relationship with her because I know she wont have weed or alcohol shoved in her face with me. I'm angry and VERY jealous that she's talking to such a guy.

Yes I'm happy with being her friend but in honesty, I would much rather date her.

There's more to say but I don't feel like typing it out. I want her to make up her mind. It hurts to see her interested in that type guy.

We both want everything to be back to normal. No more fighting or whatever happens. Just a good ol' friendship. Hopefully she turns around her thoughts.

That sucks she's into a fuckin looser pot head. She will probably be back around but I would go on dating other chicks for now.

 

Sorry to say it but if she just wants to be friends, she doesn't want to date. With all of the excuses about time and her mentioning she wants to be friends, she's just trying to be polite. She'd much rather you both agree to it rather than coming straight out and telling you it's over. But basically, that's what she's telling you. It sucks but I'm afraid you'll have to move on and find someone that's into you. I'd give yourself a good amount of time before you see her "as friends".

I agree completely. a girl that actually wants to be with you wont pull that shit. those are excuses from someone who doesn't want to be the "bad guy" by ending hte relationship outright.

I was in a 16 year relationship/marriage, and the day she started a conversation off with "have you ever thought we would be better friends?" I knew it was coming, bang!! A month later came the seperation/divorce talk.. I was pissed, wanted her to change her mind, got jealous after I moved out, and she was talking to some slacker that barely had a job.. Moral of the story, Tell her exactly how you feel, what you want from a relationship with her, she doesn't agree move on bro.. Oh and yes, there plenty of fish in the sea.. I'm 35 dating a hot blonde 21 year old..

 

I'm kinda with Evil Monkey on this one. Best you can probably do is tell her ok, friends it is. Let her know your there for her when this doesn't work out but you need to move on too.
Sometimes letting something go will give you a chance to find yourself too.

I don't know too many guys who haven't gone through something like this in their lives. It will hurt for a while, but it will get better.
