Ok, I see now, the Satoshi is recessed adding a degree of depth to the grill insert whereas the one i submitted for review/approval (LOL) is basically flush. Yea, that is very nice and adds a great custom look.

I actually thought the one I found protruded a little since it looks like it has those side angles, just like the Satoshi. Maybe not.

I guess it all comes down to the quality of base material, powder coat, and finally cost. I know the one I found has multiple lettering options. And at first I was sold on the retro (or FJ) 2.5" tall TOYOTA letters painted Inferno on the black grill/bezel. You can also get the bezel powder coated paint matched which would then make the mesh insert area appear much smaller and that might be way cool too. Of course the more options you add/change the higher the cost. Ultimately, with all the bells and whistles, for the one I found, you are 500 bucks like the Satoshi.

Now like you though, I think any mesh (hole or slot) would look best with either the Devil Horns on fire (or for me painted Inferno), or the T Toyota Trucks logo plate.
I wonder that T logo plate would look if I taped off the black and painted the stainless parts inferno, with a clear coat......... Then it would be totally unique.

Either way you go I cant wait to see it!!!

IMO, the black mesh with Inferno Horns would be a winner!

    Andres,
Understood about the degree of difficulty and can honestly say that from what I've seen the results are nothing less than spectacular. I can appreciate the artist ability involved. The fact that the anodized versions are more susceptible to degradation due to salt really makes me second guess my decision. Here in Maryland they salt the heck out of our roads in the winter. I primarily drive the truck all winter long and is the main reason for having a 4WD vehicle.

Are the prices the same for the Devil Horns regardless of the finish? Do you offer them in Inferno only? Do you think I would need the T Toyota Trucks Emblem Mid Plate on a mesh or slotted grille insert?

Do the prices on your website reflect any TW discounts? Is there a code to enter. Just curious for when the time comes.

    Thank you for responding.
    Rob

Yea, at first I thought I might try the DupliColor rattle can Copper I saw on Youtube (https://www.amazon.com/Dupli-Color-CK100-Copper-Plate-Coating/dp/B00E9786FG) to try to match the Brushed Copper Ray 10s and just plasti dip it black if I screwed it up or the color wasn't a good enough match.

But then I started to look harder at these Devil Horns and like them a lot. Then I saw the T logo and thought that might be more unique. But I do agree, Inferno Horns on a black grill/bezel might be the best look overall. Or the T logo with Inferno added.

You can get the Horns on Fire color, if it fades you can always re-anodize it, powder coat it, polish it, etc. It's an aluminum emblem so don't let that stop you.
The emblem has a price of it's own, by adding a finish you're increasing the cost. Try it out on the website and you'll see the price difference.
Send me a message asking for a coupon code and I'll send you one.
Model T emblem does not need a mid bracket if you want to install it onto a mesh grille.

You can get the T logo now and give it a try, if you don't like it send it back for a refund within a reasonable time.
Model t emblems are in stock.
Devil Horns have a wait time, the next batch is in October but you can pre order at any time.

What a salesman. I am on lock down until the wheel and tire switch out dust settles. But you will be the first to know when that is.

I'm really not sure because I dipped it black not long after I got it. Funny thing is, I don't remember thinking it was faded when I first dipped it. I removed the dip the other day go with the original fire color but was disappointed. So, re-dipped it!
