I had a 285/75-16 mounted to my factory spare. Never actually used it, but tire shop mounted it for me.

My 285/75 fits fine on the stock steelie. And runs fine on the truck.

That's good to hear! Was debating for a while between 285s or 255s. I figured i might need to do a little trimming on the bumper at the most with 255's and feel like it can get more out of the 255's for what i do. Oh and i don't have fender flares anymore so that played a big part into it too! :D

You may only be able to use it on the rear though, if used on the front without a wheel spacer it will most likely rub the UCA.

Oh ya. I run 1.25" spacers all around. Forgot to mention that. But ya it works perfectly fine with those spacers. Not sure if you have fancy wheels with proper back spacing haha. I've ran it on the front but with spacers

TRD fake beadlock wheels (came with Baja Package) but the spare is the standard.

I am already running 285/75/16. Just need to fit the spare as it still has a 265/70/R16 on it.

I don't know the spacing on those. I just know my stock OR wheels needed spacers so I got em. But I can assure you at the least you can mount a 285/75 on your spare. Maybe try at home to see if you can run it in the rear without a spacer? If you pop a front you can just swap one from the rear to the front and spare in the back.

What brand tire are you gonna go with? I have a brand new km2 255/85/16 sitting in my garage.

So i looked into the 27f and that seems to be autozone specific? Picked up a 24r at oriellys that had higher specs than the 27f, i think its 730cca and 910 ca so im hoping itll be ok. 3 year warranty too still shocked that they dont last 5+ years anymore lol

The 27f in my truck now came from an orilley's auto parts in Las Vegas. But I bought one for a customer from pep boys a few weeks ago so I don't think it's autozone specific. I do know that not all stores stock them as they aren't near as popular as the 34's are
