Oh dang didn't know you were thinking about selling yours already, thought it was someone elses. I'm not dead set on having the CDCV so unless it was a killer deal I'd probably pass..

I am interested in the coils. What do you consider fair for the rears if I call this guy?

    Thanks,

Yeah... not enough meat in this game. I'm running Camburg Coil overs in front. It rides sooooo nice and took a lot of work, many iterations to get it where it is. For me to change, I need to do the whole thing. Rears are more important at this point.

Considering he only has like 500 miles (maybe) on the new shocks anything below what he paid would already be a killer deal.

I also threw the thought around of ditching my existing rears for the RXTs but I don't think I want to run their leaf pack and I think I have a way around it potentially worked up :spy:

    True..
If all goes to plan I should be buying some used 2.5 coilovers no resi or CDCV from @Rashnu. So not sure I'd want the ability to only adjust the rear.. it would almost force me to upgrade to some resi/CDCV CO's... It's a trap!

If you have a lot of variable weights it would be nice. Being able to adjust the compression speed between empty or loaded bed would be a huge upgrade, the additional fluid capacity would just be an added bonus.

I've always said that if your going to spend the money for 2.5s with Resi's it's foolish to not go ahead and make them adjustable for a couple hundred bucks more. Just being able to dial in the ride specific to YOUR preferences without having to open the shock up is a huge plus. I like my truck to run on the firmer side so I run my CDC at a 7/10 in front and my rear bypasses about 3/4 of the way closed on the compression and right in the middle on my rebound speed.

But then by the time you pay for adjusters you may as well spend a couple hundred more bucks and get bypasses....

Never ending fuckery with this habit I tell ya

I wouldn't do bypasses again. Right in the middle on the rebound is just standard valving on the shim stack, same as a CDC. There just isn't the need for that much adjustment on a sprung over 10" travel rear suspension.

I at least have enough expirence from tuning the old truck myself to know what needs to be adjusted and how it should handle. I can't imagine someone green trying to play with them, it's a PITA and you can do more harm than good by making bad adjustments

Exactly, basically a dropped lower eyelet allowing for a little more droop. They tested the crap out of this kit, I have spy shots of it that I couldn't show anyone from October of last year when I stopped by their shop on the way home from the off-road expo and at that time it had already been installed on their truck for months. It's a solid kit for sure. What I don't like is that under load their springs drop to like 1.1" of lift in The heaviest setting. My deavers hold close to 2" with 500ish lbs in the bed.

Basically what Cliff said. After having 2.5 non cdcv shocks and now the 2.5 cdcv to match my front, the truck drives amazingly well. The ability to quickly change it on the fly when the tent goes on will be great as well. So I really couldn't be happier. Where I struggle is that the truck is pretty perfect as it stands. Those deaver u402s paired with the new shocks ate pretty unbeatable and I am leery of the new icon leads, primarily because the Deavers are so good and handle weight so well. IF I did do the rxt rear setup, I'd just go with the rxt cdcv shocks and forego the bypasses, primarily because I really don't need them for my application. It's all really an "if" at this point as I have other build priorities and the suspension is pretty perfect as it stands now.

It sounds like the deavers still out perform the new icon packs anyway.. If it ain't broke, no need to fix it. You've got a killer setup as it is. If I were to find a sweet deal on front CO's with cdcv I'd probably go that route front and rear. This is what I get for trying to move to a top tier suspension on a budget, I know what I'm in for. :D
