that reminds me of the honda rukus i had in college.....i curved hopped that thing all the time

 

I was an inch away from buying a rukus earlier this year. I backed about since I am a big dude. 6'0 on a moped makes for rolling comedy.

 

Besides if I get run over & die, that last thing I would want people to remeber would be of my death on a scooter.

Not yet. I've done a lot of reading on it though, and it's funny that in the articles it mentions how a fear of rolling out is a super common misconception and it's actually damn near impossible.

adding Dakar

$82 D29xl Leaf Spring

D29xl AAL this weekend. I will have the leafs out. Do I want to replace the bushings? I added new bushings when I installed the leafs a year ago, approximately 25k miles ago.

Maybe replace the front eye bushings with poly ones. And regrease the rear ones.

 

ok. That sounds like a good idea. I have the older style Dakars, that have pressed in bushings in the front. Thanks!
