So there is some sort of protest going on on 16th st. Can't even hear or tell what it is for but they are blocking 2 different, busy as fuck, streets doing it.

I don't get it. Like I am all for supporting a proper cause, and this may very well be one, but why the hell do you interfere with other peoples lives in the process? I get the argument "well sometimes that is the only way to get the message out" but its just rude.

But yes, this is the ONE instance where I find the 12" lift and 3200 pound bull bars on the front of a truck from Texas actually useful. Lock it in 4hi and clear the path. The bumper will be right at noggin level for proper protection. Added bonus.. there's nothing inside their heads since brain matter dries like cement.

So I took a quick walk to my truck to drop off some stuff and listened to what they were chanting..I saw some Devos signs, and a gay pride flag, and then them chanting about corporate greed must go.

Especially the cold, frosty assortment?

For the socially awkward people not following my trip/build thread , a few of us may be running the Morrison Trail, east of Yellowstone on the WY/MT border the last weekend of this month. Have to call on Friday and make sure it'll open in time... They are shooting for the 22nd.

 

Tow truck will be here in an hour to haul that stump grinder away.
I called PD first and they said anything left more than 24 hours I can legally have hauled away.

Otherwise, After 30 days, I can keep it and sell it. Currently 7 days into it.

 

But don't you have to pay the tow truck??

 

nope. The owner of the grinder will have to pay to get it back. Otherwise after 30 days the towing company can sell it for fees. I made sure that was clear when I talked to the PD.

I made 3 calls to that number plus posted that and the license plate on here and nobody had any luck. I call that a fairly decent attempt to find the prick. I have done my due diligence.

Trial & Error?

The best I can tell you is after 4 days of constant opening, Returned home Took out of truck and placed on Garage floor. 2 weeks later I finally remembered I needed to empty it. Ice was all melted but stuck hand in water and it was cold (not ice cold but some unmeasured amount of temperature decrease). Grabbed one of the 2 remaining beers and drank it, it seemed colder than water was.

So basically it went 2 weeks (Top closed whole time) and beer was cold enough to drink. There is Risk though until you figure out how long it will last and you are too far away for me to lend you mine to see if it will work for you.
