I like the look of the FIAT... NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Saw a TON of them in Portugal... not a fan.

But I do like the new Peugeots. They look bad ass to me.

 

The old-school Mopar guy in me says no, but the service writer in me says yes...

 

I drove rhis rental in Portugal, it was fun lil turbo diesel . Took forever to pickup but once it was there she had some pep. I couldnt tel ya what it was . The emblem was like a diamond shape. It did the trick.

 

Hell yeah! No idea on the price point. And although part of me really wants it, the other side of me is thinking about higher fuel costs, higher maintenance costs and just having to deal with DEF doesn't sound appealing. I'll wait and see what the specs are and the real world towing and fuel economy. If it makes good power, tows well and is a lot better on fuel, I might consider it. I'm sure it will be at least a $5k premium over the standard model.

That's unfortunate. I haven't driven on in years but I liked the older one I had. Mine was a 2004 and my dad has had several over the years, his most recent being a 2013 Tahoe.

 

The older ones had much better throttle mapping. And better shift mapping, with fewer gears. And no cylinder deactivation. If I could find one that wasn't rusted all to hell I'd love one of the mid-2000's models. They were nice trucks.

Every GM truck I've driven feels like a pig in daily driving. I hate how they tune their trucks to dial power back from a stop or slow speeds. I've been told they do it not only for fuel economy, but also because the drivetrain doesn't hold up if they take it away.

 

The diesel cars in europe are great! I had a big ole 9 passenger Renault van this summer, diesel, and it was pretty quick.

Could always add airbags for towing. T4r should pull just fine though, might even be more comfy

Absolutely. What they make now makes me sad, lol. Although I do love listening to a Hemi drive by.

They make them that aren't inflatable now; those probably hold up better long-term.

How is the dart even called that should be the neon. The charger is not even a charger its more like a Valiant 4 door i could go on lol. FIAT is a joke

 

This is how the automatic Tacomas and 4Runners feel to me.

The older 2007 and earlier models don't do this. My dad has a 2014 Silverado. The couple times I've driven it, it can't make up it's mind what gear it wants to be in.

 

When Dodge came out with the '94 redesign I had those things plastered all over my bedroom walls

But mine are slightly more old school than that, even.

 

Hertz in Munich told me I was getting a Pooo-geot wagon, with a diesel.
Pleasantly surprised, it was pretty fast and comfortable at Autobahn speeds. Definitely not some 70's POS imported here.

 

I've always said amongst friends and family that if Peugeot ever came back to the US, I'd probably buy one.
